AARON NIGHTINGALE
I’m a 20+ year veteran of the entertainment industry. I started my career working at SECOA assembling portable staging while working in the high school theater running events. I then spent several years working on board Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Cruise Line doing lighting, pyrotechnics, video, laser, and FX. I toured with a piano player out of Minneapolis as a carpenter and backing up the lighting crew, and then touring with Sesame Street Live as Head of Lighting responsible for daily focus and calling spotlight.
I’ve been a Las Vegas resident since 2006, and worked concerts, and corporate doing lighting, rigging, and carpentry.
I worked for 4 years at Stratosphere Casino running the shows and designing lighting for several lounges. Additional duties required me to be programmer/board op, spot light, rigging, camera op, and stage manager.
My most recent jobs include rigging at KA by Cirque Du Soleil, and opening Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque Du Soleil where I installed lighting and was a part of the creation of the show as a spotlight operator. I then backed up and re-vamped the LED tracks and became highly knowledgeable about the daily working and repair of the LED costumes, dress, and LED props.
Eventually transferring to Criss Angel Mindfreak Live where I ran deck electrician tracks, while daily repairs of LED wearables and circus apparatus.
In January of 2018 I opened Criss Angel Mindfreak at Planet Hollywood where I designed and rebuilt Criss' wearables and circus apparatus for his show. When I left I was in charge of LEDs and training other technicians to care for them as well.
I then went to R.U.N. at Luxor in late 2019 where I was again responsible for creating LED elements for the show.
During the Covid lockdown I have created lit signage and developed several games, including cribbage and cornhole. I also used this time to get licensing for US Air Force and US Space Force logos.
After the shutdown I returned to Cirque Du Soleil on the rotational crew and then went to open America's Got Talent Live at Luxor as deck electrician and have had the opportunity to design LED elements for Deadly Games and taking over Light Balance LED costumes as well.
After helping to take Light Balance for guest spots on AGT TV show, America's Got Talent Superstars Live closed in May of 2024. Since then, I am focusing on helping create quality LEDs for stage, wearable, and events.
